WELCOME!!

Detachment 607 is home to students from Fayetteville State University, Methodist College, and UNC-Pembroke.

Anyone interested in pursuing a career in the U.S. Air Force through the Air Force ROTC program can find information here; however, this webpage is specifically designed to inform anyone interested in seeing what Det 607 is all about. The cadre will be able to supervise events taking place simply by looking on the website. Additionally, the content on this site will help keep cadets up to speed on flag detail, the operations orders, and current events.

ABOUT US

The Department of Aerospace Studies is a regular department of Fayetteville State University (FSU) and University of North Carolina at Pembroke (UNCP). Methodist University (MU) students attend AFROTC classes at FSU through a cross-town agreement between the universities. The departmental staff is comprised of active duty Air Force officers serving as members of the university faculty. The Professor of Aerospace Studies (PAS) is head of the department. The other instructors are known as Assistant Professors of Aerospace Studies (APAS). This staff holds both academic and military rank. Active duty enlisted personnel carry out the daily administrative and personnel functions. All rules and regulations of the universities are applicable to this department. Student members of this detachment are known as cadets.
