It is for students who have demonstrated leadership and/or academic potential.
The program will spotlight various career options available to those possessing a law degree, as well as inform students of the preparatory measures necessary to obtain a law degree. Presenters are expected to include members of the judiciary, practicing attorneys, lawyers in other professions, and law students. The format is designed to be informative, motivational and interactive.
Students in the following counties are encouraged to apply: Bladen, Cumberland, Harnett, Hoke, Robeson, and Sampson. For accommodations and planning purposes, interested students need to respond by Friday, Sept. 21, 2012. It is on a first-come first-serve basis until the 40 slots have been filled.
