FSU Theatre Company will present a children’s production of the classic Aesop’s Fables stories on February 11 & 12, 2013, in Seabrook Auditorium on the main campus of Fayetteville State University.  An updated version of four of the timeless storyteller’s most popular fables, Aesop’s Fables is a fast moving play in which all the scene changes and costume adaptations are done in view of the audience.  As the actors become the Rabbit, the Turtle, the Fox, the Crow, or the Donkey in the Lion’s skin, the audience is brought into the action of the play.  Four of the famous fables are delightfully created in this approach to story-teller’s theatre.  Written by James Brock and directed by FSU Assistant Professor of Theatre, Susan Paschal, this is sure to be a fun-filled show for the whole family.

Aesop’s Fables will run February 11 & 12, at 11:00am and February 11, at 7:30pm on Seabrook Auditorium.  Tickets are available by calling (910) 672-1724.  Prices are $10 advance general admission tickets; $8 advance faculty, staff, seniors, and off campus students; $3 FSU students with ID until show time.  Tickets are $12 general admission at the door or $10 at the door for faculty, staff, seniors, and off-campus students.  $3 advance tickets are available for student groups (chaperones are FREE!) by calling (910) 672-1006 or emailing phall@uncfsu.edu.
